Not the same book as in the original request, which is for a copy of 3. below...
There are three different books, complicated slightly by changes in publisher:
1. Gresley's Coaches - Coaches Built for GNR, ECJS and LNER 1905-53, David & Charles 1973. This has comparatively more information on the earlier GN and ECJS stock and also self-propelled stock. (I got a decent copy (with dustjacket) in a shop in Sheringham last September for just £8-50);
2. LNER Carriages, Atlantic (amongst others) 1994. Less on the earlier stock, more detail on the remainder, however consequently the chapter on self-propelled stock is omitted;
3. LNER Standard Gresley Carriages, Mallard (Michael Harris' own imprint) 1998. This provides photos, notes and construction details together with the standard official diagrams for each type of carriage to c1931. It was the intention to produce a second volume containing the remaining diagrams but Michael Harris sadly did not live long enough to achieve this. It's an outstanding suggestion from some members that the second volume should be produced by the LNER Study Group.
Do not forget that the Isinglass drawings also contain a wealth of prototype data in addition to the drawings with most types covered, and there's also Nick Campling's book of drawings plus various articles that have appeared in the press over the years, both prototype and model.
Finally, copies of all three can be obtained through local libraries, either from stock or by inter-library loan. It is not necessary to feed the flea-bay vultures...
