With the imminent date approaching of the resignalling of Scarborough and the removal of the gantry signal. (Fortunately it is a listed grade 2 structure so is being reinstated at the north end of Grosmont station at some future date.)
Does anybody know any detail of previous resignalling schemes at Scarborough and the history of the gantry signal in particular?
I am particularly looking at the period 1911 and 1934 as they are dates that are mentioned about the gantry for original build and modification.
